Senior Citizen Center
The Houston County Senior Citizens Center is located near the Davy Crockett Memorial Park at 716 Wells Street. The center offers a warm and welcoming place to come visit with seniors, eat lunch, and participate in other activities. Lunch is served Monday through Thursday beginning around 11:15 AM. The cost is $4 for those 60 years and older, or $7 for those under 60. The meal menu is announced every morning on radio station KIVY (1290AM/92.7FM). The menu can also be found the Grapeland Messenger newspaper. The Senior Citizens Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8 AM through 4:30 PM.
